The Cultural Learning Center The Cultural Center & Classroom are the heart of our organization.  It is in this center where the teaching and learning happens.  Continuity is the heartbeat behind Native American heritage for without continuity our heritage would be lost. We have set up this center as a major tool to teach the values of being Native America,. These values must be instilled in our children in order to keep our heritage alive. Our goal with this center is to offer heritage classes that teach such things as Basket making, Crafts workshops and traditional healing. Even more important is values. We need to teach our children the values that our ancestors have taught us. We must teach them about what it means to be an Elder and how to respect our Elders. We must teach our children about story telling and other traditions and why these traditions are important. In order to do this we need teachers. Please if you feel confident in teaching a class please do so. We need you, our children need you. Remember we want to teach adults as well so this center is open to all kinds of teachings. We will also be offering classes on Native American Abenaki genealogy for those that are searching for a connection. Please take the time and view our Calendar of events where you will find information on teaching classes and also see a list of current classes being held.

The Classroom The classroom is available for a variety of  meetings, classes, birthday parties and more. The classroom will seat 8-10 people. We are always looking for people interested in teaching classes. Please contact us or fill out the form below. Planning a birthday party? What better place to have the party then right here at the museum. You can keep the kids occupied by having them tour the museum, Gift shop or play outside in our Tipi's and wigwams. We also have a playground out back for the children. We ask for a small donation for use of the museum's classroom to cover the electricity etc.

If interested in holding a party, meeting or teaching a class please contact Todd Hebert 802-224-1055
