Craft Cooperative & Gift Shop

The Craft Cooperative & gift shop is another fine attraction to the Vermont Indian museum. Our Abenaki heritage is important to us and we want to share it with others by offering a space where local Native American crafters can sell there wares on a consignment basis. The Craft Cooperative is designed for you! Please stop by or call and we will tell you all about how you can sell your Abenaki Crafts on consignment  through the Vermont Indian museums Co-op .We also carry a good supply of Southwest items and turquoise jewelry. We now offer Online Shopping for both.  We offer a vast selection of Northern Woodland & Abenaki Indian products as well as a mixture of different Native American Cultures from all over the country. Just recently we have added Craft making supplies such as pony beads, seed beads and sinew. Of course we carry dream catchers, Mandela's, hand made Indian drums, Leather bags, tobacco pouches, Indian art, Prints, books, Music CD's and much more.

We encourage local Native American Crafters of all nations to bring in your crafts and place them in the Cooperative store on consignment. This  Cooperative  is for you. The Ndakinna Cultural heritage Center & museum charges  a minimum of 25% when an item sells. this helps cover processing fee's for the credit card's and helps the overhead costs to keep the Cooperative going.

Please Note that no items will be displayed in the Gift Shop with tags that state Authentic Indian made, Native American made, Abenaki Made etc.. Unless you are from a tribe that has authority to do so. Currently The Abenaki cannot label items as Indian made etc.

What kind of items can you bring in on consignment?  We can think of a few.

Music (such as drums, rattles and flutes) Note: People like handmade drums.
